Feed the Needy Celebration

For the seventh year in a row in Jacksonville, Florida the celebration of “Feed the Needy” took off, once again. “The “Omega Psi Phi” chapter of Jacksonville served hot meals and warm clothes to those in need. Dozens waited in line for a hearty Christmas meal and holiday music.” Other Volunteers and community groups such as MAD DADS offered their support as well. The Season Of Giving

For the last eight years, Soldier’s Angels of Georgia have been preparing gift bags or should we say “stockings” to send to more than 5,000 Georgia-based deployed soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pi Kappa Alpha Shaves Heads for Cancer Research

The brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha from NYU have their annual fundraising event coming up this fall, rather than the Spring for the first time in a while. The fundraiser includes shaving heads to raise money and awareness for cancer research. The event was founded  by three alumni from “Pike’s” NYU chapter established in April of 2011. Tis the Season…to Decorate with Christmas Lights

When the winter season hits, no one messes around here at Central Michigan University to get involved and into the holiday spirit.  Every year at this time, the event “The Dickens’ Christmas Festival” is held and all the houses on Main Street in the Mount Pleasant community are lit up with beautiful lights, decorations, and ornaments galore. Greek Life Threads had the opportunity and experience to be 1 of 4 vendors out of many to participate and execute greek apparel at Alpha Phi’s Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Leadership Conference & Convention this past weekend in Uniondale, New York.
