Ballin’ For a Cure- Tri Delta Dodgeball at CSULB

Earlier this month, during the busy Fall semester…Tri Delta at California State University, Long Beach held their annual Dodge Ball Tournament. “If you can dodge a wrench…you can dodge a ball” right?! Well that’s what the participating Greek Fraternities just did that extremely warm Friday afternoon. Not only did the sorority and the guys have a great time playing & coaching dodge ball, they were raising awareness and money for a good cause. That is where “Ballin’ For A Cure” came in. Greek Life Threads was contacted to help design and print the tanks for Tri Delta!  With selling shirts to each fraternity and holding a fun sporting event, this gave Delta Delta Delta another chance to help their national philanthropy, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They sold over 300 tanks, which most of the proceeds go to St. Jude of course! Other successful events DDD has year around are, Delta Dynasty which is a fun event to grab some Chinese food and visit their Chapter house for a small fee. They also do Cancer Strike out, a super fun softball tournament they hold at local parks around the city, where non-greeks form teams and can be included along with the sororities and fraternities. Great Job to everyone who participated in a wonderful cause at DDD Dodge Ball! Photography Credit to Amy Chan, a member of Delta Delta Delta- Phi Kappa Chapter at Long Beach State.
