U of Colorado, Kappa Kappa Gamma Treats Rather Than Tricks

Trick or Treating & Face Painting at Kappa Kappa Gamma House, University of Colorado.

As October is coming to an end and Halloween is almost here, the sisters of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Colorado hold their annual “Halloween House” event. This is their seventh year putting it on and each time it becomes more successful and a tradition to families and children visiting. For some families, this is their fourth year in a row attending! While trick or treating, getting face painted, story time and many other activities… KKG holds this event to benefit BoulderReads!, a Boulder Public Library literacy program. Those who attend were encouraged to bring books to donate, which BoulderReads! uses as rewards for its Reading Buddies program and for the Boulder Valley School District’s Family Literacy program. All ages are welcome at this event to participate and bring awareness and raise money for such a great charity! Not only are the Kappa Kappa Gamma’s very involved, alumni are helping with organizing the event too! This is safe for families, a great time for college kids to give back to the community, and a fun time all around! Keep up the good work KKG’s at Boulder!
